About Us

Our Journey

Mouna Bowa means love of life. It's also a jazz Jean Luc Ponty song. String cheese incident covered it too.

We began growing microgreens in 2018. We started our first farmers market in 2019. Creating a healthy lifestyle for ourselves and others is the most important part of what we do and why we grow. Selling in places that allow EVERYONE access to local healthy food is required for our participation. Meaning, we only sell at markets that are genuinely local (within 25 miles of Charlotte,NC) and to markets that accept EBT or also known as food stamps.

Although we are not yet, USDA organic certified, we practice organic farming and procedures. We are a zero-waste farm using everything we grow to create gifts like jewelry, loose leaf tea, tinctures and a raw dehydrated microgreens powder.

We have won BEST HEALTH FOOD MARKET AND BEST ARTISANAL FOOD PRODUCT 2022 &2023
